Energy Management Systems

We have long embraced energy saving equipment ideas. Now that ongoing energy costs are continuing to rise, many are recognizing the overall value of more efficient systems.

Our energy management system controls the amount of air that is exhausted, avoiding unnecessary air removal from the kitchen. That in turn reduces the amount of energy needed to heat and cool make up air.

Our goal is to reduce the amount of exhaust air being drawn from the building envelope. The major issue here being the fact that for every cubic foot of air exhausted through the hood(s), an equal amount of air needs to replace it. As that replacement air needs to be heated or cooled, significant amounts of energy may be saved by reducing the overall amount of exhaust.

Our experience ranges from restaurants across the spectrum of food service facility types, including quick service restaurants, full service restaurants, and institutional facilities.
